Our staff employs plenty of prior experience within NYC’s Institutional market segment from both a construction and a building code standpoint. Our principal has handled New Building programs for The New School’s University Center, Major renovations at Village Community School and a range of Alt 1’s and public assemblies at Long Island University. Previous projects also included compliance services in the Biotech sector including compliance filings, approvals, permits, FDNY sign offs and TCO services for the New York Genome Center Headquarters and lab facilities.

NYCP’s Principal previously provided filing, permitting and TCO services for The New School’s iconic 16-story, 375,000sf LEED Gold certified University Center located at 65 5th Avenue. The building comprised a podium of classrooms, library, auditorium, public assemblies and a 608-bed student residence sitting atop..

NYCP’s Principal previously provided construction close-out services and minor DOB consulting for this 4-story, 100,000 sf elementary school. We experienced first-hand interacting with SCA management and inspection staff to close out this legacy project.

NYCP’s Principal worked with The New York Genome Center’s team to obtain all necessary municipal filing approvals, permits and issuance of TCO for the Office to lab conversion encompassing 170,000 sf build out at 101 Avenue of the Americas achieving LEED Gold certification. This included coordinating with FDNY’s laboratory division to obtain the special permits for chemical storage, waste disposal & HVAC exhaust systems.
